Day 1: Arrive Paris , in the evening meet your tour guide and coach for a guided panoramic tour of paris: Travel past famous monuments such as: the ARC de Triophe, Champs Elyees Opera Garnier. Stop at the Effel Tower and ascend to the 2nd floor for a magnificent sunset view of the city. Dinner at a characteristic restaurant overlooking the Seine River. We continue past the renowned Moulin rouge and night club area of Paris before returning to our hotel.
Day 2: After breakfast Coach and guide for visits to: Notre dame Cathedral, Saint-denis Basilica, Sainte-Conciergerie, the Hotel de Ville, Montmartre, Sacre possible Rosary by Father Joseph need to organised while there. Overnight in Paris
Day 3: Leisurely breakfast in the morning transfer to r arrival Paris Orly airport for your flight to Lourdes. Upon your arrival you will be met and transferred by coach to your hotel in the centre of Lourdes. In the afternoon join your local tour guide and walk in the footsteps of St Bernadette. See Boly Mill where St Bernadette was born and the "Cachot" , an abandoned prison where Bernadette's imppverished family lived. After dinner join the candlelight procession before retiring. May be Father Joseph can take part in the Mass at the underground basillica need to speak to local guide. Overnight Lourdes
Day 4: After a morning Mass at the Grotto kneel in the chapel built on the very rock of the Grotto, in obedience to the request of the "Immaculate Conception". Then join your prayers with those of pilgrims from around the world as you pray for the sick, drink water from the miraculous spring or submerge yourself in the healin baths. Experience Christ's love as you walk the life-sized Stations of the Cross overlooking the holy Grotto. Overnight Lourdes.
Day 5: Morning transfer from your hotel to Touluse Airport for your flight ot Rome. On arrival at Rome airport you will be met by your assitant who will escort you to your coach and guided panoramic of the city on the way to your hotel. View the highlights of historical Rome, including the colosseum, the Forum, Palatine Hill, walk to the Trevi Fountain and piazza Navona. And the famouse Domino Quo Vadis Chapel near the Spanish Steps. Dinner at a local restaurant near your hotel. (B,D) overnight in Rome.
Day 06: This morning we transfer to the Vatican Museums, a group of most impressive edifices with hundreds of galleries filled with art treasure. See awe-inspiring relics and works of art donated throuhout the centuries as tributes of faith. We'll cover the Tapestry Gallery, the Raphael Rooms and the most overwhelming Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo' s Masterpiece, restored mural of the Last Judgment. We continue to the largest church in Christendom, St Peter's Basilica, built on the site where St Peter was martyred. Unsurpassed in beauty, a monument to the long history of the Catholic Church, where pilgrims gather from around the world. Marvel at the Pieta by michelangelo and Bernini's amazing bronze canopy. Possibility to also visit the Grotto and the tomb of Pope John Paul II. In the afternoon we depart for a guided "Christian Rome' tour which includes: visit the Basilica of St Mary major, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin, a shrine that contains a relic from the manager of the infant Jesus; on the Cathedral of St John the Lateran, this was the first Church in Rome with the adjoining Lateran palace, home to the Popes until they left for Avignon in 1305 and again upon their return to Rome in 1377, visit the Holy Stairs adjacent to the churh; we continue to St Paul Outside the Walls, which houses the remains of St Paul under its main altar. We drive to the Appian Way – the oldest road from Roman times-see the ancient Baths of Varacalla , the Arch of Drusus; visit the Tomb of Celilia metella and the catacombs of St Callixtus where the early Christians hid to escape persecution. Day 07: Fly to Lisbon then transfer to Fatima the Eternal City, one of the greatest centres of Western Civilization and the first tryly cosmopolitan city on earth. It is also spiritual capital for all the catholics around the world. Today is truly a day we will havre in our minds for many years to come. This mornig we are joined by a local guide and attend the weekly Papal Audience and Blessing given by His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI (pending papal schedule). A short time at leisure, to explore your own paths, to shop, or just to sit in one of the outside cafes and watch the world go by. Then continue with your coach to the airport. Met on arrival in Lisbon and transferred to your hotel in Fatima . overnight in Fatima
Day 08: After breakfast depart for Lisbon with your tour guide visi the historical centre of Lisbon, including a visit to the Church of St Anthony. Despite what migh be assumed fro his name, Saint Anthony was born and grew up in Lisbon. Traditionally, the invocation of his name is considered the best means of locating lost objects. Then we depart Lisbon for Santarem, one of the oldest cities in the world. We walk throught its narrow streets to the Church of St Stephen, containing the oldest recorded ucharistic mircale. This miracle has been on continuous display since 1269. Dinner on return to your hotel in Fatima. Then join pilgrims from around the world in an evening candlelight procession to pray the rosary.
